We are thrilled to announce that Native Aave integration is now live on Frontier Mobile App. Users can connect their Preferred Mobile Wallets such as Trust Wallet, ImToken, Metamask mobile, FortMatic, and Coinbase Wallet to Track, Manage and Lend assets into AAVE.

Aave is an open source and non-custodial Money Market Protocol which enables users to Lend and Borrow crypto assets such as LINK, USDT, ETH, DAI, USDC and more.

We'll divide the guide in two parts

⛓Connecting existing Wallets with Frontier

1.1 Connect Frontier with existing Mobile Wallets

Frontier is Mobile interface for DeFi, Users can connect any wallets to access Native DeFi, and Staking.

iOS Flow

Open the Frontier App -> Click on "Proceed" -> Click on "Watch & Manage"   -> Enter your Ethereum Public address and Name your Wallet -> Click on "Watch" -> Main Asset page appears -> Click on "Apps"

Android Flow

Open the Frontier App -> Click on "Proceed" -> Click on "Watch & Manage"   -> Enter your Ethereum Public address and Name your Wallet -> Click on "Watch" -> Main Asset page appears -> Click on "Apps"

👻 Using Aave Protocol

Now that we have connected our Wallet with Frontier. It is time to lend Asset into Aave and Earn interest!

⚠️Note: Aave Protocol is a Decentralised Application built on top of Ethereum Blockchain. The Smart contracts of AAVE Protocol are audited by Consensys Diligence, Trial of Bits, and Open Zeppelin more details can be viewed here. We always recommend users to exercise caution when interacting with DeFi Protocols.

2.0 Lending Assets into Aave

Aave supports DAI, USDT, USDC, ETH, BAT, TUSD, LINK, SUSD, LEND, YFI, BUSD, BAT, REN, KNC, MANA, REP, SNX, WBTC, ZRX, ENJ etc. Users can deposit any of these supported assets into Aave and start earning interest.

For this Guide, we will take USDT as example and deposit into Aave.

iOS Flow

Select the Aave Card from App page -> Select the Asset -> Enter the amount of Asset you want to deposit -> Click "Deposit" -> You will see a drawer which says Choose Wallet -> Select the wallet you want to proceed.

For example: If you choose Trust Wallet, then Trust Wallet opens -> Confirm Allowance -> Confirm the transaction

Android Flow

Select the Aave Card from App page -> Select the Asset -> Enter the amount of Asset you want to deposit -> Click "Deposit" -> You will see a drawer which says Choose Wallet -> Select the wallet you want to proceed.

For example: If you choose Trust Wallet, then Trust Wallet opens -> Confirm Allowance -> Confirm the transaction

You've successfully deposited asset into Aave 🎉
