Frontier is thrilled to announce its latest integration with Compound Finance, A Decentralised Money Market Protocol, enabling users to access Native Compound Protocol on Mobile.

This integration will enable users using leading mobile wallets such as Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask Mobile, imToken and Fortmatic to access Native Compound through Frontier Mobile interface without giving away or importing private keys.

We'll divide the guide into Two Parts

  1. Connecting existing Wallets with Frontier

👉 Connecting existing Wallets with Frontier

1.0 Download Frontier App

1.1 Connect Frontier with existing Mobile Wallets

Frontier is Mobile interface for DeFi, Users can connect any wallets to access Native DeFi, and Staking.

iOS Flow

Open the Frontier App -> Click on "Proceed" -> Click on "Watch & Manage"   -> Enter your Ethereum Public address and Name your Wallet -> Click on "Watch" -> Main Asset page appears -> Click on "Apps"

Android Flow

Open the Frontier App -> Click on "Proceed" -> Click on "Watch & Manage"   -> Enter your Ethereum Public address and Name your Wallet -> Click on "Watch" -> Main Asset page appears -> Click on "Apps"

📱Accessing Compound Protocol

Now that we have connected our Wallet with Frontier. It is time to supply Asset into Compound and Earn interest!

⚠️Note: Compound Protocol is a Decentralised Application built on top of Ethereum Blockchain. The Smart contracts of Compound Protocol are audited by Trial of Bits, and Open Zeppelin more details can be viewed here. We always recommend users to exercise caution when interacting with DeFi Protocols.

2.0 Depositing Asset into Compound

Compound Protocol supports ETH, DAI, USDT, USDC, BAT, ZRX, and WBTC assets. Users can deposit any of these supported assets into Compound Protocol and start earning interest.

For this Guide, we will take USDT as example and deposit into Compound Protocol.

iOS Flow

Select the Compound Card from App page -> Select the Asset -> Enter the amount of Asset you want to deposit -> Click "Deposit" -> You will see a drawer which says Choose Wallet -> Select the wallet you want to proceed.

For example: If you choose Trust Wallet, then Trust Wallet opens -> Confirm Allowance -> Confirm the transaction

Android Flow

Select the Compound Card from App page -> Select the Asset -> Enter the amount of Asset you want to deposit -> Click "Deposit" -> You will see a drawer which says Choose Wallet -> Select the wallet you want to proceed.

You've successfully deposited asset into Compound Protocol 🎉
